Islamic Coinage

"Islamic coinage" is a very broad term, representing a lengthy period of time and many issuers. The standard reference for this area is "A Checklist of Islamic Coins" by Stephen Album. I have the second edition, which is 151pp. Mr. Album has the book laid out with large categories by region with subcategories and rules underneath each area, geographically organized from west to east and in approximate chronological order. I will create pages for the main groups and the subgroups will appear all on one page under each main page. The date format will be AH/AD under each heading and entry.
